Dale Fritz
Dr. Dale Fritz grew up on a small farm near Brenham, Texas where his family produced cotton, corn, hay, beef cattle, and swine. As a youngster, he was active in 4-H and FFA. Dr. Fritz graduated from Brenham High School, began his college studies at Blinn College, then completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M. He began his AgriLife Extension career in 1979 as a County Extension Agent in Fayette County, TX, and ultimately became a District Extension Administrator, a position he held for 25 years. Dr. Fritz continues his involvement in production agriculture by maintaining cow herds on his farm near Snook and on his family’s farm near Brenham.
