Jack Millender

Jack Millender grew up in Houston and, following a “long line of Aggies” in his family, attended Texas A&M as a member of the Class of ’52. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served as a forward observer in Korea. His actions in response to a sudden Chinese Army assault on U.S. forces near the 39th parallel led to him being awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroism. In later years he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for the A.H. Robbins Company, and then started his own entrepreneurial venture with a friend from the University of Texas, called Ag-Horn Coffee Service Company.
